Thankful for Little Things

Being thankful is a gift from God. It is a character trait that becomes a part of us as we grow in our relationship with Him. As we receive blessings in our life and recognize them as coming from Him how can we not be grateful? We look forward to the bigger things like Thanksgiving when we are together with family but it is really all the little things about this day that brings joy to our lives. The yellow, red, and orange leaves that blow in the cool breeze. The smell of turkey cooking in the oven, sitting at a table full of beautiful and delicious food, holding hands as we give thanks for all that we have graciously been given.

This year the biggest little thing Dana and I and all our family are grateful for is our first grandson, two-month-old Jeep Titus Collins, the son of our son Christian and his lovely wife Angie.

May you enjoy your Thanksgiving and all your "little things."

Blessings,
Jeep
